Miles Overview
The 2012 Altima is Nissan's mid-size sedan and coupe, competing with the Camry and Accord. It's a comfortable highway cruiser, though the steering can feel a bit loose at higher speeds. The cabin is roomy with supportive seats, and the trunk is generous, though only one rear seat folds down. Owners report solid reliability, with minor issues like Bluetooth quirks and some interior wear over time. The S is the volume trim for the Altima coupe, offering the fuel-efficient four-cylinder while the SR has the V6. Its 2.5L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, returning 26 mpg combined. This coupe body trades two doors for a sportier profile, but expect a tighter rear seat than the sedan.
