Miles Overview
The 2012 Altima is Nissan's mid-size sedan and coupe, competing with the Camry and Accord. It's a comfortable highway cruiser, though the steering can feel a bit loose at higher speeds. The cabin is roomy with supportive seats, and the trunk is generous, though only one rear seat folds down. Owners report solid reliability, with minor issues like Bluetooth quirks and some interior wear over time. The 2.5 S drops the SL's leather and upgraded audio, but keeps the comfortable cloth seats and keyless ignition. Its 2.5L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a CVT that keeps the engine in its sweet spot for smooth highway cruising. The 2.5 S rides on 16-inch steel wheels with covers, which helps keep the ride compliant over rough pavement.
