Miles Overview
The Maxima is Nissan's full-size sedan, the one with a sporty character that stands apart from the family-oriented Altima. It's genuinely quick and eager, and Sport mode sharpens the throttle and transmission for a more aggressive feel. The car sits planted and grips well through corners, though the steering feels a bit disconnected from the road. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with comfortable seats and plenty of tech, plus a trunk that handles everyday hauling. The SR adds sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifters, and unique 19-inch wheels over the SV, giving it a sharper feel. Its 3.5L I6 makes 300 horsepower and drives the front wheels through an automatic transmission, good for 24 mpg combined.
