Miles Overview
The Maxima is Nissan's full-size sedan, the one that sits above the Altima and aims for a sportier feel than the typical family hauler. It's a front-drive sedan that handles with more enthusiasm than you'd expect, and the steering is quick and direct. The cabin is roomy for four adults, and the front seats are among the most comfortable in any sedan. The SL adds leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and a power rear sunshade, luxuries the SV and SR do without. It shares the 3.5L V6 and front-wheel drive with the other trims, and the CVT is tuned to keep the engine in its sweet spot under hard throttle.
