Miles Overview
The Maxima is Nissan's full-size sedan, the one that sits above the Altima and aims for a more upscale feel. It's genuinely quick for a family sedan, and the sport-tuned suspension keeps it planted through corners. The interior is a highlight, with comfortable seats and a roomy cabin that fits four easily. Some owners mention the front seats feel a bit snug, and the car needs premium fuel. The eight-inch display and upgraded audio set the SV apart from the S and SL trims below it. The 3.5L V6 drives the front wheels through a CVT, and it pulls hard when you need to merge or pass. That CVT is tuned to hold rpm for quick response, but it drones under full throttle.
