Miles Overview
The LS is Lincoln's entry-level sedan, a rear-drive sporty luxury car that aimed to blend American comfort with European handling. It's genuinely engaging to drive, with sharp steering and a balanced chassis that make it feel more athletic than most Lincolns of its era. Inside, you get a well-equipped cabin with supportive leather seats and a clean, straightforward layout that's easy to live with. Some owners have dealt with transmission slips, coil pack failures, and occasional water leaks, so a thorough inspection is wise. The Sport trim is the one to get if you want the V8 and the sharper suspension; the Luxury is softer and has the V6. Its 3.9L V8 makes 280 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic driving the rear wheels, which gives it real punch on the highway. The Sport gets a firmer suspension tune and bigger wheels, so it corners flatter than the Luxury but you'll feel more of the road.
