Miles Overview
The 2007 Town Car is the last of the old-school American luxury sedans, built for wafting down the highway in comfort. If you're also looking at a Cadillac DTS or a Lexus LS, the Town Car is the one that feels most like a living room on wheels. It wafts down the road with a soft, floaty ride that isolates you from the pavement, and the steering is light and easy at parking-lot speeds. The cabin is genuinely spacious, with a huge trunk and rear seats that swallow three adults without complaint. The Signature is the entry point, but you still get the same 4.6L V8 and plush ride as the pricier trims. Its 4.6L V8 makes 239 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, which is enough for relaxed highway merging. Fuel economy is 18 mpg combined, so you'll be stopping often on long trips.
