Miles Overview
The 2011 MKS is Lincoln's full-size sedan, a roomy four-door that competes with the Buick LaCrosse and Lexus ES. With the available EcoBoost engine, the MKS has strong passing power, though it's not as nimble as some rivals. Inside, you get a spacious cabin with comfortable, adjustable seats, and the trunk is large for the class. The Sync infotainment system brings voice control and plenty of connectivity, but the touch-screen controls can be cumbersome. If you want Lincoln's full-size sedan without stepping up to the EcoBoost, the base MKS is the quiet, comfortable cruiser most shoppers in this class are looking for. The 3.7L V6 makes 275 horsepower, and with the six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive it delivers smooth, adequate power for daily driving, though you'll average 19 mpg combined.
