Miles Overview
The CJ-7 is the classic Jeep that defined the open-air off-roader long before the Wrangler name existed. Owners love how easy it is to work on, with simple mechanicals and cheap parts that make field repairs straightforward. Expect no locks, no air conditioning, and a top-heavy feel that demands respect on wet roads and at highway speeds. The STD is the purely practical CJ-7, giving up the Base's minimal extras for a lower starting price. Under the hood is the torquey 4.2L I6 paired with a five-speed manual and four-wheel drive, giving you solid low-speed crawl ability. This trim comes with modest interior appointments and basic roll-up windows, so lease it if you want the full outdoor experience.
