Miles Overview
The Grand Cherokee is Jeep's mid-size SUV, a body-on-frame design that still feels like a proper truck underneath. On the road it's composed and confident, with a ride that's comfortable for daily driving while still feeling ready for a trail. Inside, the cabin is roomy and straightforward, with controls that are easy to use and plenty of space for passengers and gear. Reliability is a mixed bag for this generation, with some owners reporting electrical issues and transmission problems as the miles pile up. Brembo brakes and a firmer suspension set the SRT8 apart from the standard Grand Cherokee, trading off-road rock-crawling for pavement-hugging speed. A 6.1-liter V8 borrowed from the Chrysler SRT parts bin makes this Grand Cherokee genuinely quick, hitting 60 in the mid-four-second range.
