Miles Overview
The Grand Cherokee is Jeep's mid-size SUV, a body-on-frame design that still feels like a proper truck underneath. On the road it's composed and confident, with a ride that's comfortable for daily driving while still feeling ready for a trail. Inside, the cabin is roomy and straightforward, with controls that are easy to use and plenty of space for passengers and gear. Reliability is a mixed bag for this generation, with some owners reporting electrical issues and transmission problems as the miles pile up. The Laredo is the base Grand Cherokee, skipping the Limited's leather and chrome for a simpler, more affordable package that still gets you the same capable four-wheel-drive chassis. The Laredo's Quadra-Trac I system is a full-time setup that requires no driver input, making it easy to handle snow or dirt without stopping to shift into four-wheel drive.
