Miles Overview
The 2011 Compass is Jeep's compact SUV, a smaller alternative to the Liberty and Grand Cherokee. It handles well in tight spots and feels stable on the highway, though the engine can get loud when you push it. Inside, the cabin has a clean layout with comfortable seats, but front legroom is a bit tight for taller drivers. Some owners mention the side cladding can bubble or peel, and the air conditioning may need attention after a few years. The Limited adds leather seats, a 9-speaker Boston Acoustics sound system, and heated front seats over the Sport trim. Its 2.4L I4 makes 172 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque, paired with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, returning 23 mpg combined. This trim includes a standard sunroof and fog lights, plus available navigation and a backup camera.
