Miles Overview
This is the classic Wrangler, the one that started the modern off-road wave and still sets the benchmark for trail capability. Expect a rough, noisy ride and limited space, but that's the trade-off for a vehicle that's all about open-air fun. The back seat is small and cargo space is tight, but the removable top and doors make it the most convertible SUV you can buy. Stepping up to the Sport gets you the torquey 4.0L inline-six, a big upgrade over the SE's four-cylinder for real off-road use. The 4.0L I6 makes 181 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque, and with the five-speed automatic it pulls strongly on trails and highways alike, though it returns 16 mpg combined.
