Miles Overview
The Cherokee is Jeep's classic boxy SUV, the one that set the template for every off-roader that followed. It's a genuine 4x4 with a manual transfer case, so you feel in control when the pavement ends. The rear seat folds flat to open up a big cargo area, and the hatch makes loading gear a breeze. Owners note the headliner tends to sag and the rear main seal may leak, but those are fixable with basic tools. The Sport is the mid-range Cherokee, giving you the tough 4.0L inline-six and four-wheel drive without the frills of the top Country trim. Its 4.0L I6 makes 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that handle rough trails as easily as the daily commute. You get manual windows and locks in the Sport, which keeps things simple and easy to fix when something breaks.
