Miles Overview
The Wrangler is the quintessential open-air off-roader, the one you see with its doors off and top down on sunny days. It's a blast to drive with the top off, and its short wheelbase makes it incredibly nimble on trails. The ride is on the rough side, especially on the highway, and wind noise is part of the deal with a soft top. Cabin space is tight, especially in the back, and cargo room is minimal, so plan for small loads. The X is the sweet spot for Wrangler buyers who want the 4.0L I6 without the Sahara's extra chrome or the Rubicon's rock-crawling gear. Its 4.0L I6 makes 190 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, and with the five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive it pulls strongly on trails and through deep snow. The X's Dana 44 rear axle is tougher than the SE's, so you can run bigger tires without worrying about breaking things.
