Miles Overview
The 2006 Wrangler is Jeep's classic off-roader, the one you see with the top down on trails and around town. It's a blast to drive off-road, with solid axles and a low-range transfer case that let you crawl over rocks and through mud. On the highway, expect a bouncy ride and plenty of wind noise, especially with the soft top, but that's part of the Wrangler's character. Inside, it's basic and functional, with a simple dashboard and seats that are easy to hose out after a muddy trail run. A smaller four-cylinder engine and a lower base price set the SE apart as the entry-level Wrangler, giving up some highway power for a lighter upfront cost. The SE's 4.0L I6 pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, delivering enough low-end torque for easy rock-crawling but modest passing power on the highway.
