Miles Overview
This Wrangler is the classic open-air off-roader, the one that started the whole wave of boxy SUVs you see today. It's a blast to drive with the top down, and its short wheelbase lets you squeeze into tight trails and parking spots alike. Expect a firm, truck-like ride and plenty of wind noise, especially with the soft top on, but that's part of the charm. The back seat is tight and the cargo area is small, so plan on folding the rear seat or taking the doors off when you need more room. The SE is the most affordable Wrangler, dropping the X's standard 4.0L inline-six for a smaller 2.5L four-cylinder. It still has the two-speed transfer case and solid axles for serious off-roading, but the 2.5L I4 needs more revs to keep up on the highway.
