Miles Overview
The 1999 Civic is the compact car that defined an era, sold as a coupe or sedan. It's light and nimble, with a tight turning radius that makes parking in the city a breeze. The interior feels surprisingly roomy for a small car, though the rear seats are tight for tall passengers. Owners report it's very reliable and easy to work on, with cheap parts and plenty of online guides. The LX adds power windows, locks, and mirrors over the base VP, making it the practical pick for daily use. Under the hood is a 1.6L I4 with 106 horsepower, and the four-speed automatic shifts smoothly for easy commuting. The LX rides on 14-inch steel wheels with full covers, and the suspension is tuned for comfort over sport.
