Miles Overview
The 2018 Accord is Honda's mid-size sedan, facing off against the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima with a more athletic feel. The Accord drives with a crisp, responsive character that makes it genuinely engaging on a twisty road, yet it remains composed for daily commutes. The cabin is roomy and logically laid out, with comfortable seats and a large trunk that swallows luggage for road trips. Honda Sensing, including collision mitigation braking and lane keeping assist, is standard on most trims, adding a layer of safety. Stepping up to this EX-L from the Sport or EX adds leather seating, power-adjustable front seats, and a moonroof for a more premium feel. Its 2.0L I4 hybrid pairs with two electric motors for a combined 212 horsepower routed through a continuously variable automatic transmission driving the front-wheel drive. The hybrid system returns 47 mpg combined, so you rarely visit the pump, and it still feels responsive around town.
