Miles Overview
The 2009 Accord is Honda's mid-size sedan and coupe, competing with the Camry and Altima. It handles with a composed, planted feel that makes daily driving genuinely enjoyable. The trunk is genuinely large, swallowing two big suitcases plus carry-ons with room to spare. Owners report few issues, though the trunk and gas tank release cable can snap in cold weather. Heated leather seats, a power driver's seat, and a premium sound system set the EX-L apart from the EX trim beneath it. The 3.5L V6 makes 271 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic for smooth, eager acceleration; expect 22 mpg combined. This coupe body is lighter and more rigid than the sedan, which sharpens the steering and makes it more fun on a back road.
