Miles Overview
The 2020 Escalade ESV is Cadillac's long-wheelbase full-size SUV, the one with the extra cargo room behind the third row. It drives with the commanding presence you expect from a big luxury SUV, though you'll feel its size in tight spots. The cabin is genuinely plush, with real wood and leather everywhere, and the third row actually fits adults. You get a big touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear-seat entertainment system on higher trims. Leather seating surfaces and a power-folding third row set the Premium Luxury apart from the Luxury trim below it. Its 6.2L V8 makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, routed through a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that gets 17 mpg combined. Expect a firm but controlled ride from the standard adaptive suspension, and the extra wheelbase makes the ESV feel more stable on the highway.
