Miles Overview
This is Cadillac's full-size luxury SUV, the one that competes with the Lincoln Navigator and the Mercedes-Benz GLS. For its size it moves with real authority, and the ride is genuinely plush on the highway. The cabin is a genuinely nice place to spend time, with comfortable seats and a strong sound system. The standard body has a tight third row, so the ESV's extra length is worth a look if you carry adults back there. The Platinum is the top-trim Escalade, the one to pick if you want the most luxurious version of Cadillac's full-size SUV over the Premium. Its 6.2L V8 makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, routed through an eight-speed automatic to four-wheel drive, which gives it confident passing power and a composed ride on any surface. The Platinum adds a semi-aniline leather interior and unique 22-inch wheels that set it apart from lesser trims.
