Miles Overview
This is Cadillac's full-size luxury SUV, the one that competes with the Lincoln Navigator and the Mercedes-Benz GLS. For its size it moves with real authority, and the ride is genuinely plush on the highway. The cabin is a genuinely nice place to spend time, with comfortable seats and a strong sound system. The standard body has a tight third row, so the ESV's extra length is worth a look if you carry adults back there. The Premium gives up the Platinum's upgraded leather and semi-aniline seats, saving you several thousand dollars while keeping the same powertrain and tech. The 6.2L V8 makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, which moves this big SUV with surprising authority and returns 17 mpg combined. This trim adds the Magnetic Ride Control suspension, which reads the road in real time and keeps the ride pillow-soft over expansion joints.
