Miles Overview
The Escalade ESV is Cadillac's long-wheelbase full-size SUV, the stretched version of the Escalade with extra cargo room behind the third row. It drives like a big, heavy luxury SUV, with a smooth ride and a commanding view of the road, though you'll feel its size in tight spots. Inside, the cabin is plush with leather and wood, and the ESV's extra length gives you real space for seven or eight passengers and their gear. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a rear camera mirror that helps when the back is full. The Luxury is the starting trim for the ESV, so you get the big V8 and the stretched body without the Premium Luxury's extra leather and tech upgrades. This rear-wheel-drive ESV uses the 6.2L I8 and automatic transmission, and with 17 mpg combined you'll be stopping for premium fuel fairly often. The Luxury rides on 20-inch wheels, which gives a slightly softer feel over bumps than the 22s on higher trims.
