Miles Overview
The 2025 Cadillac XT5 is a compact luxury SUV that slots below the XT6, offering a more manageable size with the brand's signature styling. It competes with the Acura RDX, Lincoln Corsair, and BMW X3, though it leans more toward comfort than sport. The XT5 rides smoothly and quietly, with a composed demeanor that suits daily driving, though the base engine can feel a bit strained under hard acceleration. Inside, the cabin is well-built with comfortable seats and a user-friendly layout, though rear legroom is tighter than some rivals. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available Super Cruise hands-free driving. Stepping up to the Sport from the Premium Luxury adds the V6 and all-wheel drive, plus a sportier look and firmer suspension tuning. Under the hood, the Sport gets the 3.6L V6 with 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, paired with the nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it pulls strongly when you need it. The Sport's adaptive suspension and performance-tuned steering make it the most engaging XT5 to drive, at the cost of a slightly firmer ride.
