Miles Overview
The 2024 XT5 is Cadillac's compact luxury crossover, slotting below the XT6 in size and offering a more affordable entry into the brand's SUV lineup. It squares off against the Acura RDX, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lexus RX, with a roomier rear seat than most of those rivals. The XT5 rides with a composed, quiet demeanor, and the available V6 gives it confident passing power on the highway. Its cabin is generously sized for passengers and cargo, with a straightforward layout and available leather and wood trim. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assistance features. Stepping up to the Premium Luxury from the Luxury adds leather seating, a hands-free liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof, plus the option of all-wheel drive. This Premium Luxury pairs a 3.6L V6 with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, returning 21 mpg combined. The Premium Luxury's available Driver Awareness Plus package adds adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking at highway speeds.
