Miles Overview
The XT5 is Cadillac's midsize two-row SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and Acura MDX. It drives with a calm, planted feel that suits daily commuting, and the steering is light but accurate. The ride is smooth and absorbent on most roads, though the Sport trim's firmer suspension is noticeable over sharp bumps. The cabin is quiet and trimmed in soft materials, and the rear seat slides to free up cargo space when you need it. Stepping up to the Premium Luxury adds leather upholstery, a hands-free liftgate, and a larger infotainment screen over the Luxury trim. The 2.0L I4 makes 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, and it returns 23 mpg combined. The Premium Luxury can be ordered with a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system that can vector torque side to side for better cornering grip.
