Miles Overview
The 2025 Cadillac XT5 is a compact luxury SUV that slots below the XT6, offering a more manageable size with the brand's signature styling. It competes with the Acura RDX, Lincoln Corsair, and BMW X3, though it leans more toward comfort than sport. The XT5 rides smoothly and quietly, with a composed demeanor that suits daily driving, though the base engine can feel a bit strained under hard acceleration. Inside, the cabin is well-built with comfortable seats and a user-friendly layout, though rear legroom is tighter than some rivals. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available Super Cruise hands-free driving. Leather upholstery and the larger available infotainment screen mark the Premium Luxury as a step up from the Luxury trim. Its 2.0L I4 makes 235 horsepower and pairs with the nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering smooth power that's adequate for daily driving. The Premium Luxury can be optioned with Super Cruise hands-free driving, which works on compatible highways for a more relaxed commute.
