Miles Overview
The XT5 is Cadillac's midsize luxury SUV, slotting between the smaller SRX and the full-size Escalade. It competes with the Lexus RX, BMW X5, and Audi Q5, offering a roomier cabin than most. The V6 delivers smooth, ample acceleration, and the ride stays composed over most surfaces. The cabin is quiet and spacious, with a large cargo area and comfortable seating for five. Standard tech includes a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and a rearview camera. The Luxury is the sweet spot if you want leather, a sunroof, and heated seats without paying for Platinum trim extras. Its 3.6L V6 pairs with an eight-speed automatic for smooth, responsive power, earning 22 mpg combined in front-wheel-drive form. The only real choice is whether you stick with front-wheel drive for the best fuel economy or step up to the available twin-clutch AWD.
