Miles Overview
The 2025 Cadillac XT5 is a compact luxury SUV that slots below the XT6, offering a more manageable size with the brand's signature styling. It competes with the Acura RDX, Lincoln Corsair, and BMW X3, though it leans more toward comfort than sport. The XT5 rides smoothly and quietly, with a composed demeanor that suits daily driving, though the base engine can feel a bit strained under hard acceleration. Inside, the cabin is well-built with comfortable seats and a user-friendly layout, though rear legroom is tighter than some rivals. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available Super Cruise hands-free driving. The Luxury trim starts with 18-inch wheels, leatherette seats, and a power liftgate, skipping the Premium Luxury's leather and upgraded audio. Its 2.0L I4 makes 235 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic, which is adequate for around-town driving but feels taxed when you need to merge quickly.
