2020 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury

The XT4 is Cadillac's entry-level SUV, the smallest of their three crossovers and the one that competes with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. The ride is on the firm side, but it stays composed over broken pavement, and the cabin stays quiet at highway speeds. The cabin is trimmed with soft-touch materials and a clean layout, though rear legroom is a bit tight for adults. The Premium Luxury skips the Sport's darker trim and firmer suspension tuning, keeping a plusher ride and more chrome outside. Its 2.0L I4 makes 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, sent through a nine-speed automatic to the front wheels; expect 26 mpg combined on regular fuel. Only the Premium Luxury offers the available hands-free power liftgate and a 13-speaker Bose audio upgrade.
