2016 GMC Savana Work Van

The Savana is GMC's full-size van, the workhorse choice for hauling cargo or people, offered in both regular and extended lengths. It drives like the big van it is, with a tall seating position and a firm ride that's more about hauling than comfort. Inside, the cabin is basic and functional, with hard plastics and simple controls, but there's plenty of room up front. Cargo space is the Savana's reason to exist, with a huge, boxy rear area that swallows gear or can be fitted for passengers. A vinyl floor and rubber mats define the Work Van; it's the no-frills cargo hauler that skips the LS and LT's passenger amenities. Its 6.0L V8 drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic, cranking out 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque that move weight without fuss, though expect 13 mpg combined fuel economy.
