Miles Overview
The Savana is GMC's full-size work van, the one you see hauling tools and crews around job sites. If you're also looking at a Ford E-Series or a Ram ProMaster, the Savana's body-on-frame build is the more traditional choice. It drives like the heavy-duty truck it's based on, with a commanding view and a ride that's all about hauling, not comfort. The cargo area is huge and boxy, so you can slide in sheets of plywood or stack gear right up to the roof. Its 6.0L I8 makes 285 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, so you get the grunt to haul heavy loads but expect 13 mpg combined at the pump. This trim skips creature comforts in favor of a vinyl floor and rubber mats, making cleanup after a workday simple.
