Miles Overview
The Savana is GMC's full-size van, sold as a cargo van and a passenger van, and it's the workhorse choice for fleets and families alike. The cabin is basic and functional, with hard plastics and simple controls that are easy to use but not fancy. Cargo space is huge, and the rear doors open wide for easy loading, which is what this van is all about. The Work Van is the entry-level Savana, and you give up the 3500's higher payload rating and available passenger seating for a lower starting price. Its 4.8L I8 makes 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed automatic shifts smoothly enough for hauling gear around town. The Work Van comes with just two seats up front, so it's strictly a cargo hauler unless you add the optional rear bench.
