2021 GMC Savana Work Van

The Savana is GMC's full-size work van, the one you see hauling tools and cargo on job sites. It drives with a heavy, truck-like feel, and the steering is vague, but it's stable and predictable on the highway. Inside, the cabin is basic and utilitarian, with hard plastics and simple controls, but there's plenty of room for the driver and front passenger. Cargo space is massive, especially in the van body, and you can configure the interior to suit your work needs. The Work Van is the base trim, so you get vinyl flooring and a steel bulkhead instead of carpet and a rear seat. Its 6.6L I8 makes 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, which gives it enough grunt for a loaded trailer but not for quick passing. You can order it with a heavy-duty trailering package that adds a trailer brake controller and a higher-capacity alternator.
