2026 GMC Savana Work Van

The 2026 GMC Savana is a full-size van offered in cargo and passenger configurations, aimed at commercial fleets and tradespeople who need a simple, robust workhorse. It competes with the Ford E-Series and Ram ProMaster, though the Savana keeps a conventional body-on-frame layout and rear-wheel drive. The Savana drives like the heavy-duty truck it is: the steering is slow and the ride is firm, but the V8 pulls strongly and the brakes feel reassuring. Cabin materials are utilitarian, with hard plastics and simple controls, but the front seats are supportive and visibility is excellent for maneuvering in tight spots. Cargo versions offer a tall, wide, and square load space with a low floor, while passenger models seat up to 12 with removable rear seats. Its standard 6.6L V8 1,895.00 ENGINE, 6.6L V8 makes 276 horsepower and pairs with a eight-speed automatic that includes Tow/Haul mode, so it pulls well even when fully loaded. You can order it with the optional 6.6L V8 for more grunt, but even the V6 handles the van's 239.4 cubic feet of cargo space without struggling.
