Miles Overview
The 2001 Sierra 3500 is GMC's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and payload work. It rides like a heavy-duty truck, which means it's stable under load but can feel stiff when empty. The cabin is spacious and straightforward, with durable materials that hold up well to daily use. You get a choice of regular or extended cab, plus a long bed that hauls plywood and lumber without trouble. Leather upholstery and the SLT trim level set this Sierra 3500 apart from the base SL, giving it a more upscale feel inside the cab. The 6.6L V8 pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, making this a truck that pulls heavy trailers without breaking a sweat. This SLT comes with four-wheel drive as standard, so you get extra traction on slippery boat ramps or muddy job sites.
