Miles Overview
The Sierra 2500HD is GMC's heavy-duty pickup for 2004, the one you buy when you need serious towing and payload capacity. It drives like a proper work truck, with a firm ride and steering that's heavy but predictable on the highway. The cabin is straightforward and functional, with durable materials and plenty of room up front in the higher trims. You get a choice of regular, extended, or crew cab bodies, and the bed is built to take real abuse. The Work Truck is the no-frills choice for buyers who want maximum capability without paying for the SLE's extra comfort features. It comes with a 6.6L V8 and an automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive keeps things simple for towing and hauling. You don't get power windows or cruise control standard here, but the vinyl floor and cloth seats are easy to clean after a work day.
