2017 GMC Canyon SLT

The Canyon is GMC's mid-size pickup, a step up from the Colorado with a more upscale cabin and available Denali trim. It drives more like a car than a truck, with responsive steering and a ride that stays composed on the highway. Inside, the Canyon offers comfortable seats and generous legroom in both rows, plus a user-friendly touchscreen with Apple CarPlay. With a proper truck bed and available crew cab, it's practical for hauling gear, though a bed outlet would be a nice addition. Standard leather upholstery and a larger touchscreen set the SLT apart from the SLE and Work Truck trims below it. Its 3.6L V6 makes 308 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, giving it plenty of passing power on the highway. You can add the Denali's premium interior touches and a spray-in bedliner, but the SLT already includes heated front seats and remote start.
