Miles Overview
This is GMC's heavy-duty three-quarter-ton pickup, the one you cross-shop with the Ford F-250 and Ram 2500 when you need serious towing and payload capability. It drives like a big truck, which you expect, but the steering is direct and the brakes feel strong even when you're loaded up. The cabin is roomy and well built, and the available Denali trim brings real luxury with heated and ventilated seats and a quiet interior. You can get it as a regular, double, or crew cab, and the bed is available in a couple of lengths, so you can match it to how you actually work. The SLE is the base trim of the 3500HD lineup, sitting below the SLT, AT4, and Denali, and it skips the leather and chrome for a more work-ready interior and a lower starting price. It uses a 6.6L V8 paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which gives you strong low-end grunt for pulling trailers or hauling heavy loads without working the engine hard.
