Miles Overview
The 2024 Sierra 3500HD is GMC's heaviest-duty pickup, built for serious towing and payload work with a choice of regular, double, or crew cabs. It squares off against the Ford F-350 Super Duty and Ram 3500, with the Denali trims aiming for a more premium work-truck experience. Despite its size, the 3500HD steers with more precision than you'd expect, and the diesel's low-end grunt makes merging with a heavy trailer feel effortless. Cabin quality ranges from work-truck basic in the Pro to genuinely luxurious in the Denali Ultimate, with the latter adding real wood and full-grain leather. The Pro is the no-frills work truck, skipping the SLT's leather and chrome for a lower starting price and a vinyl floor that hoses out. The Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel and ten-speed automatic make this the tow-ready choice, with the diesel's torque coming on strong from idle.
