Miles Overview
The Sierra 3500 is GMC's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling with a stout frame and strong powertrains. It drives with the authority you expect from a one-ton truck, though the ride is firm when unladen. The cabin is roomy, especially in crew cab form, and higher trims like the Denali add upscale materials and tech. Reliability is generally solid for this generation, with the Duramax diesel and Allison transmission pairing being a proven combo. The Pro is the work-ready entry point, skipping the chrome and leather of the SLE and SLT to keep the price down and the payload up. Its standard 6.6L I8 makes 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque, paired with a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that handle heavy loads without breaking a sweat.
