Miles Overview
The 2012 GMC Sierra 3500 is GMC's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It rides like a heavy-duty truck, meaning you'll feel the bumps, but it tracks straight and stable under load. The cabin is straightforward and functional, with durable materials that hold up well to daily use. Reliability is a strong point for this generation, with many owners reporting high mileage without major issues. Stepping up to the SLE from the Work Truck adds convenience features like power windows and locks, plus a more comfortable interior for daily driving. The 6.6L V8 and automatic transmission with four-wheel drive give you the traction to pull heavy loads on loose ground, though the ride is firm when empty.
