Miles Overview
The Sierra 3500 is GMC's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling with a stout frame and strong powertrains. It drives with the authority you expect from a one-ton truck, though the ride is firm when unladen. The cabin is roomy, especially in crew cab form, and higher trims like the Denali add upscale materials and tech. Reliability is generally solid for this generation, with the Duramax diesel and Allison transmission pairing being a proven combo. The SLE sits above the base Pro, adding convenience features like power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, and a nicer cloth interior. The standard 6.6L V8 and automatic transmission pair with four-wheel drive for confident towing, and you can step up to the Duramax diesel for even more pulling power.
