Miles Overview
The Traverse is Chevrolet's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander when you need room for eight. It drives more like a car than a big SUV, with a smooth ride and steering that's easy to manage around town. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a third row that folds flat for cargo and middle-row captain's chairs on many trims. Tech highlights include an available rear-seat entertainment system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and smartphone integration via Chevrolet MyLink. Heated leather seats, a power liftgate, and the larger touchscreen set the LTZ apart from the LT and 2LT trims below it. Its 3.6L V6 makes 288 horsepower and routes through a six-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which is helpful in snow or on gravel roads but drops fuel economy to 17 mpg combined.
