Miles Overview
The Traverse is Chevrolet's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander when you need room for eight. It drives more like a car than a big SUV, with a smooth ride and steering that's easy to manage around town. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a third row that folds flat for cargo and middle-row captain's chairs on many trims. Tech highlights include an available rear-seat entertainment system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and smartphone integration via Chevrolet MyLink. The LTZ adds leather seating, heated front seats, and a power liftgate over the 1LT, plus the option of all-wheel drive. Its 3.6L V6 makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, good for 18 mpg combined. The LTZ's available dual-panel moonroof and navigation system are exclusive to this trim, and the ride stays composed even when the third row is full.
