The 2017 Traverse is a three-row crossover that slots between the Equinox and the Tahoe, offering family-sized space without full-size bulk. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Ford Explorer, but the Traverse is roomier inside than most of them. The V6 gives the Traverse confident acceleration for merging and passing, and the ride stays composed on the highway. Inside, the Traverse seats up to eight, and the second and third rows fold flat to open up generous cargo space. Available features include a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and an intuitive touchscreen infotainment system across trims. The LS is the base trim, so you get the V6 and seating for eight without the extras of the 2LT or Premier.
