Miles Overview
The Tahoe is Chevy's full-size SUV, comfortably seating up to eight with the rear bench folded up. The cabin is straightforward, with easy-to-read gauges and seats that hold up well for long trips. The rear windows only roll down partway, a quirk of the rear door shape that owners note. Off-road hardware like the Z71 suspension and skid plates set the Z71 apart from the standard Tahoe and the Limited. The 5.3L V8 makes 285 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, routed through a four-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that handles snow and dirt with confidence, though you'll see 14 mpg combined around town.
