Miles Overview
The Trailblazer is Chevrolet's mid-size SUV, the one that sits between the smaller S-10 Blazer and the full-size Tahoe. The cabin is roomy, with a back seat that folds completely flat to open up a lot of cargo space. Some owners mention electrical gremlins like a finicky speedometer or a gas gauge that quits, though many report trouble-free miles with routine maintenance. This base Trailblazer skips the leather and heated seats of the LT and L32 trims to keep the price down, but you get the same strong 4.2L I6. The 4.2L I6 pulls hard from a stop and tows well, and the part-time four-wheel drive is ready for snow or mud without the weight of a full-time system. Expect around 19 mpg highway on the highway, which trails most rivals, but the payload and towing ability are class-competitive for this year.
