Miles Overview
The Trailblazer is Chevy's mid-size SUV, the one that competes with the Ford Explorer and Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's got a strong engine that gives it real get-up-and-go, and it handles road trips and off-road trails with confidence. The cabin is roomy and well laid out, with comfortable leather seats and plenty of space for passengers and gear. Owners note it's thirsty at the pump, so budget for frequent fill-ups if you're driving it daily. The LTZ is the top trim for 2002, so you get the most luxury and off-road capability over the base LS. Its 4.2L I6 makes 270 horsepower and pairs with a four-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving it strong pull on pavement or dirt. Expect 16 mpg combined from the inline-six, which is typical for a heavy 4x4 SUV.
